In the summer of 2023, I participated in a four-week course at the Lamar Dodd School of Art (UGA), where we studied art history and engaged directly with the professional art community. We met working artists, visited their studios, learned about their practices, and explored art galleries and museums. 

This immersive experience provided valuable insights into the city's professional art scene. As a culminating project, I created this journal to reflect on what I gained from the program.
