A Guide To (Inclusive) Web Design For the Visually Impaired.

This project assessed accessible design education for design students and professors at the University of Georgia and explored ways to improve its integration into the curriculum. 

The findings and steps for inclusive design were documented in a pamphlet distributed to students, professors, and designers.




The Process:
1-- Brainstorming + Collaging

3-- Convenience sampling
Two surveys were conducted: one among design students and one among graphic design professors. Participants were selected through convenience sampling at the University of Georgia.





4-- Conclusion Universities must seamlessly incorporate inclusive design into their foundational design education to enhance awareness and integration. 


5-- Design Intervention Supporting professors with training and resources is crucial to fostering a more inclusive and accessible design curriculum at the university level.

A pamphlet was created to educate professors and students on designing for the visually impaired. The pamphlet is designed to be simple and easy to understand, making the information more accessible and less overwhelming.
